Welcome to Belfort, where Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes work together and in conjunction with the town guilds to build a small village into a bustling city! In this worker placement/area control game, 2-5 players will need to collect several resources and use them to create buildings and maintain control over city districts to propel themselves to victory!
First published in 2011, Belfort has been out of print for too long, so TMG has decided to bring it back in a new and updated format as part of our glorious 10th Anniversary Extravaganza! We are working hard to make sure this edition will be truly something special, and will be a welcome addition to the collections of those who have played the game before, and those who are brand new to the experience.
In addition, Belfort: The Expansion Expansion, which is also out of print, will be brought back as part of this campaign, so owners of the original game who previously missed out will be able to complete their Belfort experience.
OK – for those of you who own everything that is Belfort, Jay Cormier and Sen-Foong Lim have been working with us and designed a NEW Expansion! Belfort: The New Expansion has never before seen content and is completely compatible with any edition of Belfort that waspreviously published. Will you have the Queen of Belfort travel the city? Will Belfort’s Heritage Preservation Society change the playing field? Will Ms. Parks and Mr. Rex help or hurt the players as they attempt to win the favor of the locksmith’s guild and claim the Key to Belfort? All of these are part of this NEW expansion that makes Belfort even more dynamic and exciting to play!
Finally, the original artist Josh Cappel was excited to hear about the new content and the new edition – so much so that he has cleared off his busy schedule to lend us his enormous talents for the new expansion material and to punch up the old art for this new addition.
